Patriots and Saints Tangle

Tonight is game two for Head Coach Brian Sims and the Winston Academy Patriots. Fresh off what some people thought as an upset of the 3A Oak Hill Raiders, the Patriots come home for their first home slate of the season to take on 1A foe, Sylva Bay Academy Saints. The Patriots have traditionally beaten the Saints the past few years and Coach Sims is 2-0 against them since coming to Winston. Sylva Bay knocked University Christian School rather handly last week and look to continue this week against the defending runner-ups for the North State title in 2A. Tonight the Pats look to go to their passing game more after the rain slowed them down last week. If you can't make it to the game, be sure to check back on here afterwards for the final story. Also I encourage everyone to check Channel 5 on cable for the broadcast of the game sometime after it. It also is played throughout the week at 7 at night.
